Winter Camps 2026

Camp Overviews

 

Sun & Sculls Camp – South Orlando, FL

Dates: February 5–8, 2026
Cost: $885 early bird (by Jan 1) / $945 after
Location: South Orlando Rowing Association (12901 Moss Park Rd, Orlando, FL)
Who it’s for: Adults (18+) with at least one full season of rowing experience, comfortable rowing up to 24 spm in a 4x or 2x. Beginner–Advanced levels accepted (sculling only).


Bayou Blades Camp – New Orleans, LA

Dates: February 26–March 1, 2026
Cost: $885 early bird (by Jan 1) / $945 after
Location: New Orleans Rowing Club (5958 St Bernard Ave) & Tulane University Rowing (Pontchartrain Landing)
Who it’s for: Adults (18+) confident in a racing single. May include sweep rowing if there’s enough interest. Designed for experienced scullers only.

 

ARION Elite Experience Camp – Tampa, FL

Dates: January 9–11, 2026
Cost: $1250
Location: Tampa, FL
Who it’s for: Masters rowers seeking elite training immersion. Participants row with ARION athletes currently training for the U.S. National Team, including opportunities to row doubles with them. Application required.

Tentative Schedule (Orlando & New Orleans)

Thursday PM (Exact time TBD)

  • Arrival, introductions, first water practice

Friday & Saturday (7 AM–2 PM)

  • Two water practices

  • Video review

  • Educational seminar over lunch

Sunday (7 AM–12 PM)

  • Two water practices

  • Mobility/recovery session

The daily schedule may shift depending on weather and venue.

What’s Included

  • Expert coaching and instruction (see the “About Us” page) for 7 practices and 3 seminars

  • Use of boats and equipment

  • Catered lunch on Friday and Saturday

  • Personalized video footage of your rowing

  • Select camp merchandise

Participants cover lodging, transportation, other meals, and evening activities separately.

Seminar Topics May Include

  • Nutrition for rowers

  • Training plan design

  • Race mentality coaching

  • Rigging and equipment demos

  • Mobility and physical therapy for masters

  • Strength training for rowers

  • Fitness through aging and menopause
     

Lodging and Accommodations

 

Lodging is booked individually. If you’d like local recommendations, reach out and we’ll connect you with our host clubs.

Skill Grouping

 

We group athletes by skill and goals following the “plus, minus, equals” model:

  • Plus: Learn from rowers above your level

  • Minus: Mentor those with less experience

  • Equals: Train with peers at your ability

This ensures challenge, growth, and fun for everyone.

  • Sweep boats (New Orleans only)
     

Potential Evening Activities


Orlando – Sun & Sculls Camp: Beach trip, golf/mini golf, escape rooms, shopping and dining
New Orleans – Bayou Blades Camp: French Quarter adventures, Garden District shops, local cuisine and live music
Tampa – ARION Elite Experience: Beach trip, social dinner with Olympic athletes and coaches

Final details will be provided closer to the camp start date.
 

Guests Welcome!

Guests may:

  • Ride in the coach launch (space permitting)

  • Attend seminars

  • Join evening activities

Want your guest to try rowing? Add-on “Learn to Row” sessions are available for $100.
