Where do you suggest I stay?
There are plenty of great hotel and AirBnb/Vrbo options in the area—here is some insight into various locations you can search:
-
Saratoga Springs (Downtown): If budget allows, downtown is ideal—walkable to shops, restaurants, and bars, and just 10 minutes from the boathouse.
-
Saratoga Springs / Malta / Stillwater (Around the Lake): Route 9P has lots of lakefront Airbnbs. Expect beautiful views and a 10–20 minute drive to downtown and 10–15 minutes to the boathouse.
-
Wilton / Gansevoort: Just north of Saratoga, quieter and potentially more affordable, with big box stores nearby. About 10–15 minutes from the boathouse.
-
Schuylerville / Greenwich: Rural and peaceful, with scenic views and budget-friendly options. About 10–25 minutes to the boathouse and 15–30 to downtown.
-
Malta / Ballston Spa: A nice mix of convenience and affordability, with coffee shops and restaurants in Ballston Spa. Around 15–25 minutes from the boathouse.
-
Clifton Park: Further out (25–35 minutes away), but has many hotels and every store you might need.
Are there any additional details I should know?
A finalized itinerary and additional details will be shared as the camp approaches. Stay tuned for updates!
